We booked a twin room in advance, yet were given a double room upon arrival, which was frustrating. After moving to the correct room, we quickly faced another issue when the AC barely worked, making the room uncomfortably humid. To add insult to injury, when I requested a blanket late at night, the front desk staff couldn’t help. I expected much more from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

I had a great stay at Roma in Florence. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and major sites. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with cozy beds and a clean bathroom stocked with toiletries. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, especially Teresa, who provided great customer service. The breakfast offered a variety of options including fresh fruit, pastries, and scrambled eggs, which I really enjoyed. However, the room was quite noisy at night due to street sounds, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. It could use better soundproofing. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and service, but be prepared for some noise outside.

A charming getaway with quirks
The hotel’s vintage charm made me feel like I was in a quaint Florentine fairytale. Every corner had a story, and the atmosphere was enchanting.
Unfortunately, the shower was quite low for my height, making it difficult to use. Additionally, the street noise occasionally disrupted my sleep.
